I failed an exam. I studied hard, prepared well, still failed.

I passed another exam, earned admission into one of the best institutions, and succeeded.

In both cases, I gave my best, studying with complete dedication and awareness of my goals.

Stretching my limits—physically, mentally, emotionally, and intellectually—has always been my way of pursuing success. The outcome of these efforts may be a product I create or the grades I achieve. Society often measures success and failure through grades, recognition, or appreciation. But what truly defines failure?

I studied 16 to 18 hours a day with unwavering focus. I managed my daily activities, balanced day and night, maintained social connections, and still tried to offer warmth and kindness to those around me. I was taught never to be selfish, yet I was also advised to focus with the precision of Arjun from the Mahabharata—whose unwavering concentration led him to hit the fish’s eye. That ultimate target has always inspired me.

So, I work hard, I read, I sweat, I bleed, but I never lose focus on my goals. I push myself until the last hour of the day, until the last blink of my eyes. For me, day and night blur in the pursuit of achievement. And yes, the target will be achieved—not by chance, but by relentless effort, perseverance, and sacrifice.

Once achieved, success may be appreciated or criticized. But regardless, something is always gained. Honest effort always leads to growth, even if not in the way we expected.

And yet, I still failed. Not because I didn’t try, but because success feels empty when there’s no one to share it with. I failed because there was no one to feel happy when I was happy, no one to feel nervous when I was anxious, no one to share my failures, and no one to feel proud of my achievements.

That is the greatest failure of all—walking the journey alone.

Enjoy…
